FYI - Piper breeches flash sale

I haven’t tried these, but I know lots of people rave about them. Smartpak is having a flash sale on Piper breeches with code PIPERFUN15.

Already ordered a pair to try them - although I’m not sure I got the full 20% off…might be something strange with how the code is working, so YMMV…

SmartPak is evil. Since they save my credit card information it’s too easy to purchase from them. I bought another pair this morning before I even got out of bed.

The $79.95 breeches should be $15.99 off. If you didn’t get that, definitely call them.

They’re about $54.69 each with VIPerks, USEF and the PIPERFUN15 code!

VIPerks?

Looks like the promo code won’t apply to the new Piper classics - has anyone else tried?

Totally agree – they make it WAY TOO EASY.
Just yesterday I was thinking about trying a pair of the Piper show breeches and…I guess I HAVE to now!

Do you guys size up at all with these? I’m a 28 in Tailored Sportsman and Ariat but I go up to 30 for certain brands (Equine Couture especially).

Go a size down from your TS breeches. I’m a comfortable 28 in TS, a sl snug (not terrible) 26 in Pipers. The 28 in Pipers fall off of me.

It will depend on your build. I am a 28 in TS and a 26 in Ariat. I prefer the 28 in the Piper. Order both sizes and take advantage of free return shipping! I am definitely a 30 in Equine Couture.

VIPerks?[/QUOTE]

The 10% off Smartpak products if you have Smartpaks for your horse. Maybe it’s VIPPerks? I forget.

I ended up getting the 28s…26 just sounds way too small! If they don’t fit I’ll just return them – it’s not like I NEED another pair of schooling breeches lol.

If they don’t fit, you can exchange them and still get the sale price

Thanks! I’ve had a new pair sitting in my cart all weekend - glad I didn’t close it out!

FWIW, I haven’t been able to get the code to work…I ended up getting charged 68 bucks for them. Have a call into SP to see if we can get it fixed…

Code is working for me. I have a pair with the discount + AQHA sitting in my cart. I’m waiting until I get home, to see if they sent me a birthday card this year…

Same thing happened to me. Too bad, those look pretty nice!

I have a pair of the show piper breeches in my cart and the code worked, sounds like maybe there are glitches though. I am sure if you call or chat online with them they will accept it and fix it on the back end.

FYI, I ordered a pair of the tan side zip show pipers a few weeks ago, I am a 32 in TS and I ordered a 30 in the Pipers based off of how the old Bradleys fit (HUGE in a 30). The pipers fit really nice in the waist but are tight in the thigh and leg. It’s not unbearable and we all know how baggy/loose TS can fit, but just be aware.

I seem to be in between sizes in the Piper. A 24 in TS is a perfect fit for me while a 24 in the Pipers is tighter in my legs than I’d like, but a bit big in the waist. (For the record, my legs have always been thin and I struggle with jeans because they’re often too big in the thigh).

The 26 is better in the legs, although maybe a tad big, but then large in the waist. Very frustrating, and I’m glad to read that I’m not the only one that they slide down on. I’m not stick straight and not curvy, so I’m not sure if there really is a body type that they fit perfectly. They’re all so cute that I want them to work for me!

I think they run short. I’m 5’3 and I’ve never had a breech that doesn’t bunch up, but the Pipers are perfect for me. My size is 28R.

Does anyone have the Monaco blue with lilac? I’m not really sure what Monaco blue is and afraid my computer monitor is not very accurate.

Also, on my screen, the taupe looks like mocha or a medium brown. Anyone have them?
