Yes. Personally, I dont find it that different riding in a western or dressage saddle.
Yup, two-point and half-seat in a western saddle is very easy.
You don’t have to ride with REALLY long stirrups. Some western disiciplines do ride with the stirrups at almost an “English” length.

I ride with fairly short stirrups, makes for a stronger leg and enables you to post easy. Plus I barrel race…
Watch barrel racing. The majority raise themselves out of the saddle
in between barrels or heading home.
