Gelpads and Halfpads

I also prefer to buy products from companies that have some documented testing. It’s very easy to make a saddle fit differently by changing the pad. It’s much harder to make a saddle fit better.

I have no idea if this is a good or a bad pad but I too Googled it and found only the website and Amazon links. There is no tack store distribution and it hasn’t been reviewed on the blogs I read (I’m part of an active equestrian blogging group).

Although user reviews are interesting, I see so many people riding with pads and saddles in combinations that so obviously don’t fit their horses, that I find them of limited value. The community that I’ve found to be the most helpful in terms of pads that minimize shock and maximize airflow are endurance riders. They use very high tech materials and are generally on the cutting edge for performance products.

I cannot find this brand on this link. Kavalcade yes. But not Kavallerie. Different company different products. Since Kavallerie is German for cavalry, it is also possible there are German companies using this name or variations. But the Kavallerie website seemed completely American, despite having no contact details.
