Georgia Trail Riders:BEWARE

WARNIING: Someone on Middle GA Trail Riders posted that last weekend at Boundary Waters 3 trucks were broken into. Purses were stolen as well as other valuables. Be sure to secure your truck & trailer. Leave nothing of value in site.

This response was posted by someone that was there that day:
I was there! Yes, there were 13 vehicles and 3 got hit with that punch tool that they use right inder your keyhole. took purses, gps, and cell phones, if they can see it they broke into it. Be careful!

My friends were the ones this happened too. It has been a pain for them to get this sorted through.

That is terrible. Thieves know they have a pretty big timeframe to work with when riders are on the trails. I have had my car broken into and purse stolen twice. You would have thought I would have learned the first time. But took two times to learn. Once was at a national park in TN. Hopefully someone can stake out this trailer parking area and catch these thieves.

I’m afraid I’ll come back to my trailer to find it full of horses. I never carry a purse so I am safe there

I now put my license and some cash in a zip lock baggie and put it under the floor mat when I trailer out to ride.
