What mare book would a half Connemara mare go into, with inspection/approval by one of the GRP registries (Weser-Ems or Westfalen)? She is registered as a Canadian Sport Pony. Her sire is a purebred Connemara stallion that did get inspected by ISR OLD NA Stallion in 2016 was licensed then and recently was approved/licensed by Canadian Sport Pony. Dam is a Trakehner cross of unknown lines. We have Westfalen and GOV-Weser Ems inspections come to Ontario. Is there one registry you’d recommend above the other?
A horse with one purbred Connemara parent can be registered with ACPS. And they are just startig to do inspections for halfbreds.
In addition to the ACPS registration/inspection, one of my halfbreds (by *ArdCeltic Art, inspected, approved ISR) out of a TB mare. She is registered, and inspected, with ISR. In fact, she was the 3rd highest scoring mare in the eastern part of the US as a 3 yo.
