I have a 2007 Hawk and there is rust forming on the inside of the doors and on the head divider (2H straight load). It’s powder coated. Best way to get rid of the rust?
Depends on the type of rust and location. Pictures speak a 1000 words.
Coat with Navel Jelly, scrape off and sand.
Sand only
Sand blast, which can be rented or taken to a shop that offers sand blasting.
Repaint
Bust the rust down to bare metal (as much as possible) and spray with Ospho. Prime and repaint.
Ospho = best stuff ever!
