Excited to have just bought my new horse this past week. She is a 4 year old off track by Giant Gizmo. Anyone else have a giant gizmo baby that they event or jump with? She seems pretty chill so far.
Not much to share, I just wanted to say I always liked Giant Gizmo and wished he was closer so I could have bred to him. I was super bummed when they sold him overseas.
He has such a solid pedigree for sport and jumping. I don’t know if any of his offspring were tried in steeplechases (I haven’t noticed any), but I imagine they would be well suited.

She’s on stall rest and hand walking now and judging by how high she can leap into the air from a standstill I definitely believe the good jumper pedigree 😂

I know of a couple that event, Kendal Lehari’s Mitchell is a Giant Gizmo and is just lovely, you wouldn’t guess he was an ottb! I also have a friend who has a gelding, he is very lovely and talented however his first owner was super over mounted so my friend has had to sort of start from scratch and fix quite a lot of things. He’s very cool though and is coming along nicely, it’s just taken some time.

Hello! I have a six year old mare out of Giant Gizmo. She ran 8 races. I have had her for almost 17 months and showed her in dressage this past summer! She is very quiet and easy going and loves her new career!
