Gift ideas for the dressage rider

Any ideas for good Christmas gifts for the dressage rider? Under $30 would be great!

Try dressage extensions gift section-usually some ā€˜dressage themed’ gifts there in that budget.
Otherwise, try for ā€˜equestrian gifts’ that may not be ā€˜Dressage-themed’. Customized leather key chains are great, embroidered hand towels (could put a dressage horse on them!),…

I bought these leather key fobs a few years ago and they were a HUGE hit. For some I had their farm name engraved and others their favorite horse’s name.

I have a friend who started a small company called Deco Pony that does Custom Stall Guards, Totes & purses with your Photos or Logos on them! They also have really nice designs of their own you can buy. It would be a very unique gift for the Rider who has everything. I think they do Gift certificates too… http://decopony.com on Facebook too.[/QUOTE]

You can do the Deco stuff yourself too. It’s actually easy and you can do it with canvas, coasters, plates, etc

Here’s the thing, you have exactly 8 posts and every single post you are pimping your ā€œfriend’sā€ company. You have some cute items in your store but I will NEVER buy from someone who feels the need to pimp their product under an alter. Good companies earn their reputation by happy customers, not by pretending to be someone else.

YES! My favorite shop!! Love everything there!

I have ordered both custom & ā€œgenericā€ pins from this artist, and they always look so nice. I think the price is v. reasonable, too (~30$ or less for the generic pins)

not sure if it is too late to do a custom version for Christmas.

2 tens and a five

Tons of stuff here, all on sale from all of these different stores. Dapplebay.com has some really nice dressage stuff, and I love all the brands on here.

Hey enjoytheride,

There are a number of gift items you can gift for Christmas such as aroma candles, chocolates, gift hampers etc.

Or if you are a techno lover then you can give any latest gadgets according to your choice and budget.

I had a friend give me a pair of spur straps from this company, and they are soooooo cute!! Just a hair above budget, but might be worth taking a peek.

Magazine subscription? My go-to.

I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten from this Etsy:

I absolutely love my micro mini zen garden on my desk when I’m on boring phone calls. There are a lot of other fun items, too, depending on the individual’s personality.

Items from this shop are beautiful and even nicer than they look online when you see them in person. There are several horse-related items.

Unfortunately the shop I used is saying it no longer exists, but I ordered custom photo bookmarks with horse photos from old photos - because of the size it worked well despite having a crummy old photo to use. It turned out very nice. I’m sure you can search and find one similar - and they are definitely in your price range.

I scribed for a COTH member when she was working on her L program, and she bought me a beautiful coffee mug with a photo of my horse on it. I just loooove it, and it made me tear up when she gave it to me. There are lots of southwestern pottery pieces/sets with horses on them.

I’m a huge fan of the Trail of Painted Ponies horses, and depending on size/what they are you can find some of those - they aren’t technically dressage, but still gorgeous.

If you can sneak and find out this dressage rider’s favorite gloves, they may be within budget (mine are, but they can get $$$$ too).

Something like this pin if you know she shows and isn’t set on one specific pin she has: https://dameronenterprises.weebly.com/store/p119/Vintage_Brooch_6013.html
(Disclaimer, I know Andrea and was one of the people who encouraged her to open a store because we were buying things from her outside of a store; her stuff is gorgeous, but I have a bias. This pin was just an example, though - it’s fun to look at local shops for something like that.)

I have this pottery coffee mug on my wishlist:

I also would enjoy the dressage wine glasses!

Cafe Press has a ton of cool dressage-y stuff: apparel, coffee mugs, license plate frames, magnets, clocks, etc.
