Okay all you tack mavens, what is the best way to store girths? I have short girths and long girths. Currently I’m hanging them by the buckles (both so one side doesn’t get stretched more than the other), but is it better to drape them over a saddle rack or something so the keep a curved shape vs a straight shape? Or doesn’t it really matter? They are in active use, but off the horse more than they are on, so what is best?

Easier to clean them while hanging! The one I have has a shelf across the circle where you put the stirrups when cleaning the leathers on the hooks.
