Who can I contact to find out why my post won’t be approved in the giveaway forum? The horse is free, I don’t understand why I never hear back about why it won’t be approved. Which MOD do I contact?

Thank you

who told you it was not approved?

It just never appears. I get the msg that it has to be approved by an mod, then the thread never appears so I am assuming it’s not being approved…?

Still no word.

I really miss the old running on this site when mod’s weren’t anonymous. How is anyone supposed to contact anyone about anything? I’m just waiting for someone to contact ME and that doesn’t seem to be happening.

They are no more “anonymous” than the rest of us. Just send a PM to both moderators.

Your thread from yesterday was approved this morning. Thanks for your patience and good luck with the rehoming effort.

Wait a minute.

You submitted it YESTERDAY? And at 5PM you complained about “never getting a reply”?

I assumed you had submitted it at LEAST 4 days ago.

24 hours is nowhere near “never”.

No. I submitted one months ago and it was never posted either.

I can’t answer specifically to why your earlier thread wasn’t approved, as I don’t have it for reference.

Here’s the Giveaways FAQ that explains the approval process and the approval criteria for anyone who has questions.

I just checked your current thread and saw the references to on-farm leasing options…if it appeared as though this scenario was the only one being offered in the earlier thread, for example, that could have been why it wasn’t approved.

Congratulations on your new baby!

Apologies for any confusion,
Mod 1

Thank you, and I understand. I believe the prior one was onsite leasing only, but at this point it would be best to just try to find a good home. I would be open to a lease if someone wasn’t ready to commit to ownership yet and possibly open to letting them move him to a different barn if I could approve it first. Was concerned about retaining ownership but having him moved somewhere too far or where I wasn’t familiar with the standards of care.

I didn’t know at the time that you could pm them like a regular member. I did pm one after that. Thank you for your help
