Until a day or two ago you could just click on the little arrow by the last poster to go directly to the last post on a thread. Now if you click on the arrow it just takes you to beginning of the last page of the thread.
This started recently, at least for me. I am running Chrome
i will confess to using Safari but I’m not seeing this behavior.

Same problem here. Running Chrome on a standard laptop (i.e. not using the mobile browser).
Tried that and is still working fine for me.
May be Chrome’s problem.
Is everything else working properly, for those who have started having trouble with this function?

Works fine for me, and I use Chrome. Plug in or cookie issue, maybe?
Neither does the 1st new post arrow. Also running Chrome, Everything else does seem to work, yes.

No problem for me with Chrome for the past few days at all.
For those having trouble, could you please try clearing your cookies for the site and let me know if the issue persists?

I cleared cookies and the problem persists. The “Go to last unread post” option consistently takes me 5-10 posts higher than the actual last unread post.
This is an improvement over what it was previously doing, which was just going to the last page of posts.
Another update. Problem has gotten worse. “First new post” now takes me to the first post on the last page.
And, if a thread is gone to via Notifications, it does the same thing: goes to top of the last page rather than the post noted.
Still no problems at all for me on Safari either.
I also quit getting posts with links held up for checking out.
Someone reset that filter.

I notice that sometimes when I’m using these features, the page will start loading, and I’ll initially see the top of the page of posts… then there’s a few second delay while it finishes loading and it will then take me to the correct post.
Is it possible this delay is what some of you are seeing?
That’s a negative, Ghost Rider. Issue persists regardless of my level of patience/impatience with respect to load time.
Suspect it may have something to do with my adblocker but have not disabled to verify.
