Good guided trail riding rentals/outfits in Upstate SC/Western NC?

I’ve got some friends who say they would enjoy going on a guided trail ride, if I do all the prep work and research. I’m an experienced rider (H/J mainly), but my biggest concern would be finding a reputable outfit so my friends would feel safe.

We live in Greenville, SC, so anywhere in the Upstate is accessible to us, as well as over the border in NC. I’d say anything within 1.5 hours drive would work. We are hoping for maybe a few hours on a weekend day, as we all work full time.

I’ve tried researching via the internet but haven’t found much, so I figured I’d try the COTH experts if any are in the area.

Thanks!

The Biltmore (Asheville) has guided trail rides. I’ve never ridden their horses but I’ve ridden the trails on my own horse at Biltmore and it does have lovely scenery. Considering the high profile of The Biltmore I think they’d be both reputable and safe. No idea of the cost but their phone #s are 800-411-3812 or 828-225-1333.

Thanks! I do know about the Biltmore, but I’m not sure if my friends would go for paying both admission to the estate (required) and then for the trail ride. But maybe it wouldn’t be bad.

Any other options? I’m still Googling thinking I missed something
