Not really “fox” hunting, but there was a thread a few months ago about the Top Gear episode that included hunting.

The List of Adrian Messenger is one of the best, there is a clip on youtube.[/QUOTE]
Yes - that one and Flambards.
(That’s the Huston kids, in the hunting sequence in Adrian Messenger, BTW.)
The “I Love Lucy” foxhunting reference sent me searching for “Mame”, starring Lucy, Bea Arthur and Robert Preston.
And there’s Mary Poppins & friends hunting on carousel horses.
Isn’t Lucille Ball also riding aside in that hunt scene in the movie Mame? I saw her costume from that movie in a museum once…and she was tiny!
Yes! I think I’m going to put that film on my Netflix rotation. The movie trailer I found was so much fun!
There is a fox hunting scene in “Marnie” but just a warning- it doesn’t end well for Marnie’s horse. It’s a sad, frantic scene and one that any horse lover could understand. It still haunts me.
The movie “Giant” with Elizabeth Taylor-- in the movie her character’s family is from Virginia and there is a foxhunting scene.
The scene from “Mame” with Rosalind Russell is hilarious-- she rides a crazy horse sidesaddle, passes the field, hunt master, hounds, then she passes the fox!!
An episode of Brideshead Revisited has some fabulous hunting scenes.
Tom Jones hunt sequence
I think to be precise that one is stag hunting, but I recall the exciting chase scene, and was deeply discouraged to find that scene had been bowdlerized from the BBC version of the production. It shows them with the stirrup cup and then immediately clumsily cuts to Tom rescuing the girl. Modern sensibilities are just too sensitive.
