I didn’t know this! Thank you for sharing!

I really hope he continues with the clinic in January too. I feel like I learn SO MUCH from that just from watching. Hoping he’s not ill as well!

Looks like you can pre-order Unrelenting though Amazon, and it has more of a description of the book there as well.

UGH this is the ONE clinic I hope he does. Even if Anne does it, I’ll still go, but I won’t stay up after working overnight on New Year’s Eve to go! I do hope his health is ok though, truly.[/QUOTE]

But sleep-deprived and delirious Pancakes was hilarious!

As of last night, he’s alive and well- and on his way to Camden, SC for the weekend. Sent word for riders to be in the ring at 7:45 am Friday!

Oh, my gosh! It’s just like Santa Claus in a The Year Without a Santa Claus!!!

I’ll have a blue 2016, without you!!
I’ll be so blueeeee, riding without you!
Unfitted pads, non-matching tack, on a dirty horsee,
Won’t be the same if you’re not yellin’ at me…

Okay, honestly, I hope all is well and he’s back better than ever in 2017!! We need GM.

Perhaps then he is planning next year for some touring to promote his book. Or, that he will need to go into hiding because he says some mean things in his book… Not that he has ever shown concern for saying mean things! But super glad he did this and really looking forward to reading his book!

“This engrossing autobiography, the real story of the godlike George Morris, beautifully demonstrates his ultimate humanity.”

Oh man, I haven’t gotten to clinic with him yet! I wanted to lose some weight before signing up. I hope he doesn’t retire before I get to. I also wanted to fly down to Florida this year and audit his clinic.

I hope he is just taking a break to relax and enjoy some time off.

There’s a ‘join wait list’ button on this site for his upcoming book! http://www.horseandriderbooks.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=H&Product_Code=GEMO&Category_Code=WCOM

I suspect that GM is just making time to explore some other interests. For example, he will be leading a session at the Global Dressage Forum in a couple of weeks.

So excited to see him in Ottawa next week-end. Wish I was riding in it but looking forward (with only a few nerves) to being ring crew again.

And like I stated in the thread in the Dressage forum - I think he is spot on in all of his commentary on Dressage. Like he says in your linked article - Impulsion IS the most important thing and in should be first in the training scale… I’m curious to hear what will come out of that forum!

Bumping this thread up because the book’s pre-order window opened Friday.

It’s been available for pre-order on Amazon for longer than that. I reserved it a few weeks ago on there

I ordered one! Not only do I love everything about him regarding horses but I also have always really enjoyed his writing style.
