I recently read an article that got me thinking about my hookup. Do you want your emergency brake to engage before or after the safety chains detach? Where do you attach your emergency brake cable?
Once your chains are taut, there is no further pull on the safety cable attachment to your emergency brake, so there’s no way for it to engage. It needs to engage before your chains do.
