got the full release use for Sock's photos

the first one is the presentation of his World Championship, next is my favorite of Aimee grasping Sock’s nose when it was announced he won his In-Hand class, then one we could not pass up of Socks eyeing the flowers thinking Food, the last is the presentation of his National Championship. (we have full rights to use these photos)

Daughter has worked for years to get a horse to this level

Wow, what a beautiful pair. How old is he again? If he is two, he is very big for his age and very well put together.
Congratulations.

That is a regal looking two year old, no wonder he won, there are few that nice!

That second picture is so sweet, even Socks seems to be happy along with his human.

Will be wonderful to be able to follow his career over the next years.

Shit, Clanter, is that what my Morgan is supposed to look like? Damn.

(Socks is gorgeous!!! And I know he will have a life of great adventures with your family. It’s a pleasure to witness even a little of his journey, via your posts and photos.)

yes he is two and is currently standing 15.1h … several trainers who have seen the lad at the show had commented that he has another 3 to 5 inches of growth in him …he has remained pretty much balanced, his rear did get ahead of him some

He has not been feed anything special, just good hay and grazes (mostly in the backyard). He is a good boy who wants to work.

I like the photo of him eyeing the flowers as I pretty much have a good idea of what he was thinking…and am proud that he grab them

He is so gorgeous. The second phot his face is clearly 13 yr old boy getting hug from mom “Mooo-ooommmm, geez!” You have every right to be proud of both of them. He is so typical Morgan both in looks and attitude.

Yowser. I’m not generally crazy about modern Morgans, but this guy’s something else! Beautiful.

Congratulations.

At risk of repeating myself, but :applause::encouragement:
He is one handsome boy!

thanks …

I have been watching some of the Morgan Nationals and a lot of those horses do not look like our Morgans. Even Bonnie who headed to 22 to me is more of what a Morgan should look like than some of the ones at Nationals

Socks is being raised as a Sport horse, daughter has had him under saddle once or twice without any wild reaction… it is though he read the book and this is how I am supposed to act. He has been started in harness, some how we now have three sets of harness for the lad and a meadowbrook cart

Looks like a sweetie pie. Honestly, though, I like your Socks a lot better. So balanced and “classical,” in the very best sense.

Wow! He’s wonderfully well-balanced - no wonder why he did so well. He’s going to be a wonderful breed Ambassador. His breeders did a great job and your family is continuing that.

Thanks for sharing!!

Great photos, thanks for posting them – it’s always a pleasure to see Socrates.

My favorites are #2 and #3, as, to me, they show his personality.

Beautiful Morgan! Beautiful pictures.

She has done well with the first one why not pick up another??

He’s really lovely.
