GOV Inspection - Taylor (Austin) TX

We had a great turnout today! Three judges were present: Felix Einhaus, Katrin Burger and Hollly Simensen.

Eight stallions were presented. Three stallions were approved:

Dean Martin CR - (Don Frederico/Weltmeyer) - a 2008 Hanoverian owned by Cadance Ranch.

Cartier R - (Cassini I/Acorado)) - a 2009 Holsteiner owned by Rising Star Farm

Sea Accounts - (Sea Hero/Private Account) - a 1999 TB owned by DeBracy Sporthorses.

NB. My other two year old colts were judged as too immature right now - so, I’ll represent after they grow a little.

Six foals were presented. Four fillies and two colts.

Fillies:
Symphony CR - by Sinatra Song out of Wonder Woman, owned by Cadence Ranch - Premium AND Foal of Distinction

Romance CR - by Routinier out of Frangipangi, Owned by Cadence Ranch - Premium

Filly by Parabol, owned by Vicki White

Fandango by Falsterbo out of Ariel - Owned by Noell Lacy. I’m not sure, but I think this one would have been Premium if the mare had papers.

Colts:
Valens by Valentino Z out of Portia, Owned by Holly Gjetley - Premium

Capezio by Contango out of Weyka (who also was entered into the MMB), owned by Amy Denny/Christy Jagodik.

Congrats on Cartier! It isn’t easy getting a 2 y/o colt licensed in this country!

I was also happy to see Sea Accounts get licensed. I have a breeder friend with an eventing mare that she may breed next year - SA might be an interesting choice for her.

Congratulations to Cyriz’s Mom !!

Congratulations to Cyriz’s Mom !![/QUOTE]

Ditto to this - that’s fantastic! He’s such a sweet boy.

Congrats to all the other stallion owners and breeders too!

Congratulations to everyone.

We’ve watched Cyndi and Sea Accounts through the whole process and it is gratifying to see that they are doing so well <smile>. We can truly say, we knew them when :). It’s a LONG road for successful stallions, that’s for darn sure!

Yea Sea Accounts!!!

and congratulations to the other stallion owners

Big Congrats to all!!!

Yippee to Sea Accounts and Cyn, He is truly an outstanding TB Stallion that deserves this honor. There are not many TB stallions that equal this boy. Breeders need to take note and use this stallion.

Congrats to Ronda for such an outstanding 2yr old stallion. Cartier R (Cassini I) is quite special.

Thanks all! We are very excited and pleased! Cyriz was a very good boy. He had a blast freejumping again after 5 years and I think was a bit disappointed he didn’t get to go higher! LOL

He received very good scores including 7,7,8 for gaits with 7.5 (overall conf and free jumping) and 8’s for everything else, except his legs which received 6’s. His legs were their only negative comments thought they did say they quite good for a TB. His overall score was a 7.6!!!

Huge thanks to Ronda and Lucy for putting on a lovely inspection and being so helpful.

Congrats to Ronda on her lovely Cartier R. The other two just need a bit more time.

I’m looking forward to working with the GOV and Oldenburg breeders.

Next up…the ATA convention/inspection in November here in the Dallas area.

Yea! As Wonder Woman’s previous owner, I am so so happy that she has continued her very impressive mommy duties! Congrats to Cadence Ranch!

triple Yea!!!

Here’s a little video of Cartier R in the jump chute at the inspection

Please post other pics and videos from the inspection here

I’ll have to see if any of our video is postable! LOL

The lighting in the indoor and the big black horse didn’t work so well for the under saddle part and we asked a spectator to video the freejumping, but she was a ways away and I’m not sure how much you can actually see.

We should have taken some conf pics while he was braided, but it was too HOT!!

Do you have pics of your Valentino Z foal?
