I used every trail with my android, but it’s not available for my new Nokia. Any other suggestions?
I have an iPhone but have tested Endomondo and Map My Tracks which also offer the Android version. They’re pretty good! I am testing a lot of GPS apps these days!!!
I have an LG and use Waze. 
I’m not sure if it’s available for windows but I use MotionX. I love it! It seems very accurate, tracks distance, average and max speed, elevation, and it shows you on a chart how fast you were going at what times and for how long. It has different kinds of maps, and the deal maker for me was you can download maps before you go out so that way if you lose signal you still know where you are at. Seems pretty good on battery as I still have good life left after two hours and that’s not starting with a full charge. It wasn’t free but I paid a dollar and you don’t have to pay anything after that.
