Has anyone used these before - thoughts?

Long story short, difficult shoeing case and bell boots aren’t cutting it because horse likes to step on herself and twist a shoe off.
Good, sometimes a little difficult to put on and keeping them from moving. Quite inexpensive for an effective way to keep the farrier at bay.
I have a feeling these would rub my guys heels raw. We stick with pull-on, Italian rubber bell boots, and even go up a size so they fully cover the whole back of his foot.
Not to be dense, but how would these prevent pulls better than a bell boot? They cover less.
To me, it looks like they cover the bulb and the shoe, whereas I think my mare is getting under the bell to the shoe. I’ve tried a couple different types so what’s one more.
