Ok, so my girl dog is on Orijen and I’ve always thought that her feet smell like grass (and they do). So I have my boy puppy with me today and he is also on Orijen so I reached down to smell his feet…what the heck??? They smell like fritos!!!
WTF??? 
Ya; cat feet smell like kitty litter.
Since we’re talking about smells, my favorite is horse grass breath.

Oh my BF is going to be so disappointed when he gets home in a few weeks. He always snuggles our girl boxer on the couch and calls her his corn chip girl because her head smells like fritos :lol:, wait til I tell him that she’s not as unique as we thought she was.
I always thought it was the sweat that smelled like corn-chips- doggies sweat through the foot-pads, and the smell always seems more prominent when it’s hotter out.
Mine both have Frito-feet. I shared the info with a few dog-owning coworkers (non-dog people WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND). They of course went right home and sniffed their dogs’ feet. Yep, Fritos all.
However. Dogs pre-date Fritos by a long shot. So isn’t it more correct to say that Fritos smell like dog feet? (There’s an ad campaign for ya!)
Hum… my dog is ALWAYS sticking his paws right in my face (honestly I find it a bit annoying!). His favorite place to be is on a lap, upside down (so you can access the belly!) front legs STRAIGHT in the air… toes poking at your face (he is a little guy, under 20 pounds).
Any way, his feet smell like dog… not like corn or fritos at all! He is a very clean little guy (we joke he is like a cat, and avoids dirt), but his feet smell like dog… his normal smell, but stronger.
He is also on a grain free diet (used to be Innova EVO, have switched to TOTW).

No Frito feet on my Corgi- her feet just smelled like dog hair + horse. And she was insulted that the Mama smelled her feet.
Ok-- so I have 6 dogs, and I have to confess, I smelled all of their feet!!! LOL

That explains the stale corn chip smell in my house!!! I mean 24 paws smelling like Fritos is a lot of Fritos!!! LOL
