Another Dutch ride that doesn’t look like it’s where they want it to be. Hans Peter rode him well, but as the BBC commentator says, the horse looks rather grumpy. belgian–more he’s being lazy and doesn’t want to work and not stepping up enough behind, He lost his steps a few times.

Regarding Isabell Werth and rollkur, the times I’ve seen her ride at World Cup, she made a point of riding on a long rein right in front of the judges in her warm. I always thought she was making a point of saying “I’m not like Anky.”

I really liked the test the last Russian rider put in–some gorgeous piaffe/passage work. Look forward to seeing more of that team.
I think I remember Mister X at WC too and loved him then. Nice ride. As a side note, his piaffe was perfectly timed to The Beatles too.
