Grape Seed Extract - Where to Buy?

I’d like to try giving both of my horses grape seed extract for a variety of reasons.

However, I’m not sure where to buy it. I looked at Starwest Botanicals, which is where I get chaste berry and fenugreek. I have been VERY pleased with their products. However, 1 lb is almost $90.

Uckele has a grape seed powder for about $40 with shipping for 100 grams. Obviously not the most economical choice.

Then I went to some of the bulk sites, such as PureBulk and I see the cost is significantly less ($25 or so for 500 grams). But to be perfectly honest, this worries me. WHY is it so much less?

Can anyone recommend a source for grape seed extract?

Thanks!!!

www.uckele.com has it, 3.5oz for $29.95. Their products are very good quality.

But if you google 'bulk grape seed extract it is a lot less.

www.bulksupplements.com/grape-seedextract.html has 1kgs pure powder (2.2lbs) for $51.96.

I buy my mare’s herbs from herbalcom.com
cheap cheap cheap, fast good service.
they have a pound of the extract for 33.10
and a pound of grapeseed powder for 9.95

I have used them for years for several different herbs.

I buy from either of the following, :

What is the purpose of the grape seed extract? I love grape seed oil for cooking, haaven’t heard about it for horses…

Wow, we used to feed that and no way was it that evpensive. Who makes the “Su-perr” (or something like that) products? I think that’s what we used.

Hey. you can buy it online, via iherb for example. btw I can share with you a discount coupon http://nutritionsguru.com , the grape seed extract is quite expensive, so I hope it will be usefull for you.
Ben

I’ve used Su-Per Gateway grapeseed extract but it does have some sweetener in it so I wouldn’t use it for a horse with metabolic issues.
