I’m surprised that you have been breeding for color for so long, and that you haven’t tested your breeding stock. It has been easy and cheap to test for color and for OLWS for many years now.:yes:

Does the APHA not require stallions at stud to be tested at all ? I’m not familiar with the registry, but I’m surprised that it wouldn’t be a requirement to have that information available for people that are interested in breeding their mares to your Champion Producing APHA stallion.

Dominant White #5 does NOT carry the lethal white gene. We have NEVER had a LW foal. 1. We don’t breed outside mares. 2. Our APHA stallion has been tested for every genetically transferred issue there is…by his previous owner/breeder.

Is there a reason you are attacking our breeding program??

I am also confused how someone who has been breeding for so long doesn’t understand color genetics.
