This is the rider who won the big equitation class at WEC in Ocala last week. It sounds like she is not just a good rider, but also a good horse person.

Aw, she does seem a lovely girl. Good for her - I’m glad she’s enjoying her success!
And, Lord, that child was blessed with hair along with all her other talents she works so hard on. Look at those gorgeous locks as she changes tyres!!

Skylar truly is an amazing young lady. My daughter rides on her IEA team which is coached by Skylar’s mom and I have to say, I have never seen a teenager work harder than that girl. She is always working, whether dragging the ring on the tractor, helping the other kids get tacked up, or cleaning and organizing the barn. She is such an inspiration for the other kids around her.

What an exceptional young woman Skylar is, her success is well deserved. Changing that tire was very impressive, its obvious she has a whole array of other skills in addition to her riding talent.
She is what our sport is lacking these days. I’m so glad to see a top junior who knows all aspects of horsemanship. Kudos to her and her parents!!
