Great video on foxhunting (drag hunt)

This video featuring VT’s own Green Mtn Hounds was passed on via FOL today. I watched it and thought it was a really nice way for people to learn more about the thrill of foxhunting. Oftentimes when I am describing hunting to my other riding friends that have never hunted it is difficult for them to envision just how exciting foxhunting really is…
I think this video does a great job capturing the incredible excitement that goes along with hunting. It also describes drag hunting fairly well.

Figured I’d pass it on for anyone that isn’t on FOL…

I agree, LookinSouth. The video was really fun to watch. Eva did a great job editing all the footage she took and it really helped that the weather was so agreeable when she came to observe the hunts. We had a huge field this past Sunday and that also adds to the whole ambience.

Excellent video! I’m also glad to see my previous horse is doing well I owned the Palomino Appaloosa that Marten was riding (the one getting the drink at the end). From what I hear Nigel (the horse) likes his new 2nd field job up there and it certainly looks like it!
