Has anyone heard of this place? I can’t find any reviews online. I contacted them and they seemed very professional. Anyone in the Deansboro NY area who could drive by the place? I hate to ship my retiree out there without seeing it first, but it’s a ten hour round trip!!
I’ve never heard of it, but I’ll be up that way next week. Where is it exactly?

I don’t think so. Similar farm name, but Jen is near Cazenovia.
I live about 20 mins from Deansboro area. If MHM can’t make it let me know and I can do a drive by
Thank you!
Kimball, I emailed you.
Just curious how this one panned out? I’m searching for retirement farms right now and this popped in my Google search!
Would like to hear as well.

Thanks.
I have a retirement farm in Virginia…
I did have a retiree who’s owner relocated the New York. Owner moved the retiree to Green Acres so the horse would be closer. I haven’t been in touch to know if she liked the farm or not.
We have a couple stalls open at a private retirement farm in Cincinnati, OH.
I know this thread is a few years old, but I’m wondering if anyone has experience with this farm that they would be willing to share? I have a gelding that is telling us he needs an extended break. I have recommendations for a place in Virginia, but if I can find a good spot within a one day driving distance (from southern New England) I would really prefer that.
Message me the one in Virginia you’ve heard about. I want to make sure it’s NOT one near me that no one should ever, ever use!
I’m bumping this thread again to see if anyone got any info on Green Acres, or knows any reputable retirement board options in the New England area? Feel free to PM me…
I don’t know if this is close enough to New England for you, but John Madden Sales has retirement/rehab board -
^ The retirement set up at Madden Mountain is fantastic. A friend of mine has a couple of horses there, and they look great.
I am looking for retirement facility for my 26 yo. Any ideas in NYState or CT. REASONABLE board a must!
Please define reasonable. I know of a few facilities in NYS that provide excellent care, but one person’s “reasonable” is another person’s expensive.
