You seem to be missing the concept that in some barns there is NO BATHROOM…Like nada…nothing…zero…zilch.

This happened at a CDI held at an established equestrian center in Lipica. The odds are there is a bathroom in walking distance from the barns, or one in the barn area.

The large shows I have been to - Devon, Gladstone, Lamplight, Wellington (h/j and dressage), LA Equestrian Center, Del Mar, Pebble Beach, Rancho Murrieta, Galway Downs, Woodside- have all had restrooms near the barns. Small county shows have them too, and I can’t think of any local showgrounds around here that don’t.

But if you’ve been to shows with no bathrooms/porta potties, I take your word for it.
