Does anyone know when the gulfport prize list comes out? Of where I can find It if it is already out
I just got the “come to gulfport!” promotional material in the mail, the Prizelist is usually 2-3 weeks behind that.
I just got the little flyer with the GORGEOUS painting on the front, so I assume the paper prize list is not too far behind. Not to hijack but where does everyone stay down there?
I’m a budget shower (if there is such a thing), so I stayed at a La Quinta over in Biloxi. There are a few hotels near the GP airport though. We stayed at a marriott near the airport a few nights, but the planes landed right over our heads until around midnight so I can’t say I recommend it. The drive from the airport area is around 10-15 min. From Biloxi, 25-30 min.
Gulfport is a great, fun show. I love Classic Company, they’re great to work with. Gulfport has some nice vendors, and it’s a nice run. They have some great jumper classes, challenging but fun, and the hunters are great too. It’s kind of a quiet show in a way, which I love. Not super stressful.
If you attend, pack warm and for rain! The key to GP is dressing in layers.

Ah but all that dressing in layers is so worth it for the days when it’s 65 and sunny! Plus they go the extra mile to make it fun for everyone.
