This super cute boy just came home and I am in the struggle bus for a name. He came with the name Tuxedo which I do not like. I thought “Sharp Dressed Man” as a show name would be cute. No, he’s not registered, but he is a gypsy cross. He’s very calm, a bit of a ham, and I’d like something that means calm, at peace, protector, something along those lines. I thought of Baloo but read a blog that trashed the character and that ruined my childhood. I thought of Benny but I don’t think that fits. He seems a little more serious than that. A friend suggested Merlin and I don’t think that clicked either. I have looked at Gaelic names but no one at the barn is going to pronounce them right 
. Help!

Rio - means go with the flow
I looked up a zillion names for Theo, but my kids decided his name was Theo.
You could use an A/C and see what he wants his name to be.

He looks like a Patrick or a Rory to me.
Or you can stick with the “T” from Tuxedo and call him Teddy because he’s sweet and comforting like a Teddy bear.

From what little I know, Gypsy was a bit of a derogatory name for people of Romany descent. They call themselves “Roma”. Roma or Roman sounds pretty noble.
He doesn’t look much like a cob or vanner to me, more like a QH/ draft cross. That doesn’t mean you can’t name him as one but fyi.

I think I found his breeder, and they claim to breed gypsies and Gypsy crosses. I’m going to try to call.
I love all of these suggestions!! I am still considering a few.
I also just saw a Labrynth meme and “Ludo” could be a contender. Brave, selfless, and big. “Dance magic dance” or “Voodoo Who Do” could be a show name.
And only people of a certain age will get it
