Anyone recently subscribed to H&C for a month without issue? H&C had a really sketchy financial past…and I am not sure about giving them my credit card number. I would like to watch Great Meadow this coming weekend.
I’m not quite sure why H&C got the rights to stream this weekend, I know USEF Network has run GMI in the past? A bit disappointed to have to pay for it honestly, I think USEF would’ve been better served to limit spectators but provide streaming of all/most of the shows that are able to happen.

I have a Horse & Country subscription. I just looked, and there is a “Cancel Subscription” link inside “Manage Account” on the menu. I assume it will work! My subscription is annual and I haven’t tried to cancel so…
I don’t think it’s H&C but one of the European services requires notice to cancel, so you end up paying an extra month. I think that’s Clip My Horse? So read any terms and conditions that are presented to make sure there’s nothing weird in there. I can’t find them in a quick look around the site. The ‘legal’ page is just blank.
I actually subscribed to H&C a few months ago and have kept my subscription. You can find 20 years of Burghley, several Badminton, Pau, Luhmulen, and two years of Adelaide. Plus, I’ve watched all of the Eventing Masterclasses, I think there are 20. I think H&C covered Great Meadow last year. (or the year before.) I would say it’s worth the subscription for the other videos online. Whether the streaming is as good quality as USEF Network does, maybe not.
But I’ve really enjoyed my subscription. I just checked my account, and when you go into account settings there is a visible icon that says “cancel subscription”
Lastly, I just saw this. On my page it says “Number of allowed streams: 50” , “number of allowed devices :50”
So maybe one person subscribes and shares it with their friends? (I’m sharing mine with about 10 friends and family during the event, since I’m riding 
) I don’t mind giving access, hopefully I don’t get in trouble with H&C ? (It looks pretty easy to delete your device once logged in, not that I mind you watching burghley since Im paying for the subscription anyways)
I know my in-laws have been able to work with their bank to get a credit card number that is good for one purchase. It isn’t linked to the main credit card. If you are really worried about them and only plan on the 1 month maybe talk to your bank or credit union.

H&C is available on Roku, if you have it, and may give some credit card protection.
I think rumours of financial instability arose when an ex employee sued and the CEO filed for bankruptcy, after calling in her £400,000 personal loan to H&C.

I bit the bullet and they have a lot of other things streaming which might be fun to watch - so I’m hoping to get my money’s worth this month then I’ll cancel.
