Had to share this CL post

Maybe this has been around on FB or what have you, but I felt I should share it here as words to the wise.

We once took our dogs up to the Sierras and had stopped at our favorite burger joint on the way. Their tree was dropping olives and I guess one of the dogs ate a few. An hour later, the other dog forced himself through the little window between the truck cab and the camper shell in much the same manner as this horse. Apparently, the olives didn’t agree with the dog who ate them and little snowflake dog couldn’t hang with the barf.

So I really sympathize with that horse! Glad it had a happy ending.

what a nightmare! The times when I’ve left my trailer with the back windows open, the biggest thing I’ve had to deal with is birds nests. Last year I discovered a nest in the hay net with three baby birds in it. I was able to transition it over to a nearby tree and luckily the mother kept taking care of them.
