Haflinger bloodlines

I acquired a Gypsy Haflinger cross who can be a little spicy! We’re wondering if it comes from his Haflinger side?? His Gypsy side is very mellow, I’ve personally worked with that stallion’s offspring. I know nothing of his Haflinger side.

I’m no expert, but have friends who own (respectively) a full Haflinger & full Vanner.
Both are lovely, well-mannered horses, both ride & drive.
From what I’ve seen, my money is on the Haffie side for any 'tude.
