HAIR TIES ARE NOT DIGESTABLE!

With how dark it is it almost looks like internal bleeding, or at least bad enough bruising to possibly throw a clot?
When our doberman had his surgery he did not have any noticeable bruising.

Oh, ouch, I agree that doesn’t look like a normal amount of bruising.

My dog had emergency surgery 6 months ago to remove bladder stones. She had some significant bruising but nothing quite that bad.

Any update on your cat?

I have to be extremely careful about mine…both cats are horrid thieves and if I leave the drawer open even a crack, I will come home to find it emptied and have to retrieve my items from beneath various places. Hair ties are a favorite.[/QUOTE]

I have two thieves as well. As a matter of fact, their names are Bonnie and Clyde. They once stole my wedding ring box and held it hostage for four days before they returned it (without a ransom, I might add). Nothing is sacred.

Sorry! Way to long to wait to reply! Just an update! I have been super busy with starting a new job and dealing with Miss Cray Cray. She is doing very well now. I was very concerned about the bruising that she had but the vet insisted that it was ok. Not a normal amount but still ok. So i just kept an extra cautious eye on her. I’m pretty sure all of the vet techs thought i was a crazy lady calling in to the clinic all the time. Asking all of the silly questions i asked  It was a good thing i obsessed over her though because she started not having a great appetite (this is NOT normal for her lol.) Well, turns out she had a pretty good infection starting in the incision area so two antibiotics later and me watching her like a hawk she is a perfectly happy little shit again lol (excuse my french  ) Also she has Finally gotten the ok to have the “Cone Of Shame” off lol
