He was PTS today. He had laid down overnight and likely snapped his leg while trying to get up. My poor sweet boy.
I’m so sorry.
So sorry for your loss!
Oh @crackerjack. My heart goes out to you. I’m deeply sorry. Know your beloved horse met so many cherished horses on the other side. And he’s whole now. Running free. And they’re waiting for us.
I am so so sorry.
Oh no! I am so very sorry for your loss
Sending you hugs and healing crackerjack. I’m so sorry.
I’m so, so, SO very sorry. My heart aches for you.
Very sad to hear this. It’s so hard, when we love them so much. Wishing you strength.
I’m so sorry.
Oh no So, so sorry.
Thank you everyone.
The surgeon did get back to my vet and thought that it would have been a long and painful recovery. He wouldn’t have deserved that. Here he is at one of our last shows doing what he loved…hanging out soaking it all in. He really loved going to camp.
It shouldn’t matter if they were beautiful or not, but Jesus F. Christ he was beautiful.
Oh no. I am so sorry, crackerjack. Godspeed to your handsome boy.
I’m so so sorry to hear this. Lots of good ones up there for him to run free with. Sending you love and hugs
He always took a good photo…even in his goofy moments.
hugs and more hugs… oh my heavens…I am so sorry.
I’m sorry @crackerjack if I missed it. What was his name? When you’re able. Can you speak about him? How he came into your life. Such a beautiful kind thoughtful face. Wise. Godspeed sweet boy.
Oh no! I’m so sorry!
The thing I’m going to miss most is that he was a big mama’s boy. When I walked to get him out of the paddock you’d either hear him nicker or see the nostrils going if he was too far to hear. He’d then come to the gate. I’m going to really miss that. He also just liked hanging with you. At horse shows you’d be sitting on your trunk by the stall and his head would be there right next to you. He was a giant golden retriever who if ever given the chance would have got up on the sofa with you, shared snacks and watched TV.
