HALP! Need the perfect gift for pony squisher!

I have a teenager helping to keep my small pony in shape (and does a wonderful job!). I thought it would cute to get her a nice shirt that says “pony squisher”, “pony jock”, “I squish ponies”….you get the point. Btw do NOT search “pony jock” on Etsy. YOU. HAVE. BEEN. WARNED. Anyway I can’t find ANYTHING remotely close online or at our local tack shop. I thought this would be a common thing to sell!.

Any leads on a shirt that says something like this?!

What on earth is a pony squisher? It’s a good thing?

Okay sooo maybe it’s not as common as I thought. Pony squisher…think good riding kid that is technically too big for ponies but helps to tune them up. Or a smallish adult. They squish the ponys!

Thanks for the explanation.

I was thinking maybe lots of hugging?

I wouldn’t buy a teen a shirt that had anything on it that could be given a double entendre in any way shape or form by any teenage mind because she will never wear it.

Pony squishing also has a wierd fetish aspect.

Get her an insulated travel mug or water bottle personalized with a photo of said pony’s cute face. If adult I’d say coffee mug but teens often don’t go for hot drinks.

Hey, I appreciate your feedback. I do know this teen (freshman in college), extremely well. Pony squishing is common phrase in our area but mostly an inside joke with all our barn mates that she only became a pony rider as a young adult. She wouldn’t ever wear it except to the barn. I already have a few other gifts for her, just figured something silly with something like that would be fun.

Yeah. What @Scribbler said.

If you want a t-shirt, check out Preppi Pony. The etsy store is https://www.etsy.com/shop/ThePreppiPonyCo.

I’ve been thinking about ordering the Snowflake Lummie Horse Tee for myself. They have one that says “Hunter shows, at least you look fabulous waiting” that I also love. :grinning:

This is exactly what I was thinking.

I like this shirt: https://www.cafepress.com/+,2036036217 (or one of its many variations)
ETA: it looks like that’s a kids’ shirt I linked, but there are plenty of others out there to pick from.

Meant to ask, what fetish is associated with the term pony squishing? I don’t want to Google and find out and then have weird content pushed to me

So actually the owner of that Etsy shop is a friend of mine! I reached out to her the other day and she can make me whatever I want, but price was $43+ per t shirt. If i hadn’t gotten a few other gifts already j would have totally done it. I was hoping to find something more mass produced.. Still may be ordering through her though if I can’t find anything I like!

It’s not a positive term where I’m from - it means someone riding a pony (or horse) that’s too small for them. Over 20% of their weight, that sort of thing. It gets you pulled off your horse at UK shows because it’s abusive.

What about a tasteful My Little Pony t-shirt for adults (I know that sounds crazy, but if you do the Google, some are actually pretty cute)? That would have the “pony squishing” resonance without people taking it the wrong way.

In the interests of full disclosure, I used to wear one occasionally as an older teen!

It’s big people riding miniature’s/small ponies and getting off on hurting them is the best way I can describe it. It’s some sort of fetish. Some people suck.

Something like “Pony Wrangler” would be cute.

Oh the “neigh sayers” one might be cute for an adult riding ponies haha that one made me smile

OP, even though it’s an inside joke at your barn, I’d be careful ordering that saying.
From my own experience:
I was invited to the Sweet 16 party of a Jr I showed with. We always teased each other about her bring a privileged child to my hardworking adult.
So I got her a t-shirt that read “I want to be Barbie, the bitch has everything”
She loved it, her Mom (not a horse show parent) was not as amused :grimacing:

This brand makes #ponysquisher shirts. I personally prefer their other designs

Last year I did a monogrammed saddle pad and a book for my college kid who helps keep my mare in shape sometimes. Ohh and on etsy there is a company that will do custom stickers of your horse, so I did some of those too.
