Hard Shell Horse Sport Boot

Are there any hard shell sport boots on the market that also have lining? The only hard shell that come to mind are the WOOF types but the ones I’ve seen have been unlined.

I would love to find a pair of black or white hardshell boots with fleece lining as a present.

Would DSB boots be “hard” enough?

Unfortunately not. The horse in question interferes significantly behind so the owner is searching for a true hard shell. The DSB lasted about 3 months before they finally started to give but my understanding is that they are pretty shredded now.

I’ve found that Eskadrons take a lot of abuse. I’d go with the ankle boots (if that covers where he interferes). You can also do the cross country boots or the fleece lined open fronts if you need a larger strike plate.

I would look at a XC boot if the horse is that bad

John Whitaker international make a hard shell boot also, in several designs…

Veredus makes a few different models, never seen them in person but they look nice on the internet, haha. http://www.wyotackroom.com/newvepirereb.html

Yes; the Veredus Piaff Evo boots are AMAZING for the ones that badly interfere. My Grand Prix mare doesn’t hit herself often, but she has an old scar on a hind leg that will open if you breathe on it; the Veredus products are the only thing we’ve found to keep her legs on!
