Wow. I have to say I’m surprised. I thought she was one of the good ones. I have watched her Youtube videos. Not everything she espouses works for me, but I assumed overall she had a decent program. What a bummer.
yep, that’s her arena so she could have just backed up and let the horse go free.
Poor horses
Here are the (unsubstantiated for now) rumors:
- the original FB post was created by a young employee
- it was posted on the Ontario Connection group and taken down quite quickly by admin - assume LP or supporter is part of admin.
- the post and video was screenshot by many people and shared.
- LP herself posted a long reply which was also taken down
- LP has now lawyered up and contacted individuals hence why you cant find the posts anymore… Just like with Dr Allosery who is still happily in practice after complainants got lawyered into silence.
- anybody who has proof or complaints should go to animal welfare although we all know how well that works…

Thank you for explaining. I was really confused why the original post wasn’t widely shared like so many other allegations of abuse, neglect or poor/dangerous practices in the horse world are. This makes sense. I’ll be interested to see what happens.
LP is no longer admin of that group (hasn’t been for some time after her account got hacked and she was locked out). I know the admin for the group IRL and I don’t think she’s an LP disciple, but she IS anti-drama and pretty sure has been threatened with legal action previously so if it got out of control or she received threats, that’s likely why it was taken down.
I saw the post soon after it went up so there were some comments, but I missed the LP reply before it was taken down. It’s not the first unsavoury thing I’ve heard about her, but I don’t have any personal experience.

Part of the video was posted on the Durham Region Horse Services Page. Included in the post is a clip of LP telling the person recording to delete it. Shame no one got a screenshot of her response.
Allosery has a post somewhere - I saw a screenshot but can’t remember where - of him apologizing but also trying to rationalize what happened.
