Has anyone ridden with him? I may have the opportunity to ride with him, but the logistics are not great for me. Wondering if it would be worth the long drive?
I have not ridden with him but have attended a clinic.
I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Harry Whitney is not as well known as, say, Buck Brannaman but every bit the genius. I’ve ridden with Buck as well.
I’ve ridden with Buck several times and its been fantastic.

Absolutely. Much like a Buck clinic, it doesn’t matter what clothes you and your horse are wearing.
A good resource for learning about what Harry Whitney teaches would be Tom Moates’ books. There’s a series of them, A Horse’s Thought, Between The Reins, and a few more.
You would be at an advantage, having read the books before you went to the clinic.
A Harry Whitney clinic is more expensive than a Buck clinic, but you get a lot more one on one instruction with Harry. He designed the clinic structure that way.
