Anyone with experience with Harvard babies. Im not sure that his foals are old enough to see jumping style, but looking for your experience with his foals as far as jump style, movement, temperament and bone/height.
Harvard is a rather impressive stallion and I’ve heard wonderful comments from inspectors about his foals for type, quality and movement. His temperament is exceptional. But, personally, I have never even thought to look at Harvard as a hunter sire, so have no idea what he would produce as a jump, so can’t help you there. From a dressage perspective, most of his foals are dressage type and shown, including his 3 approved sons all of whom competed in the Bundeschampionate and now stand in Germany, Sweden and the UK. He has other young stallion sons in Denmark, one just went through Danish licensing in 2011. His mare-daughters are used in crosses particularly with Florestan with exceptional results.
Although Harvard has primarily been bred to dressage horses, he does not seem to ‘kill’ the jump.

When I had my Harvard colt for sale I received a few calls from trainers looking in particular for Harvard offspring for top hunters. One told me that one of the top hunters (3 years ago or so) was a Harvard offspring…sorry, I do not remember the name of the horse, but, just wanted to relay my experience. My colt had a very “hunter” style jump but was a bit too big of a mover for hunter world
