Just by looking at the picture, the buckle setup is not very good. Can’t see any elastic either (just my preference).
Take a look at Barnstable, theirs are on sale;

I’ve had mine for probably two years now. I really like it. I clean it after each ride and it still looks almost new.
The spring-loaded buckles took some getting used to though: the movable part stays “latched” until you physically pull it away from the rest of the buckle. There is a short length of elastic on each side.
