Mind blowing
Tell us why? ty!
Almost through it and !! Not the best grammar or editing, but the concerns that are brought forward need to be investigated and acted upon.
Is there a link to said book?
I can’t even begin to explain all it covers: from DEI and its clash with SafeSport, to attrition and greed, and the blackisting of anyone including R judges and stewards that don’t fall directly in line with their financial agenda. It covers it all.
To give you an idea: “The detour of USEF from its primary mission as a rules and regulation organization, was worsened by a shameful pursuit of more and more financial gains in equine sports. In that pursuit, USEF ran roughshod over its membership, failed to resolve alleged rampant pedophilia in its ranks, engaged in cronyism, and wallowed in the uncharted waters of social justice”
For sure I’m sure it was done on a budget and self published. But also the 21% year over year attrition (which I’m not surprised by AT ALL) is a HUGE problem for this sport in America.
Ah thanks, when I googled it came up with a series of novellas written by Georgina Bloomberg and featuring teen riders and their horse dramas.
lol yeah def not that
I’m curious, but NGL, this as a summary does not exactly inspire me to believe this book is written in an unbiased, logical way that includes all receipts.
“Berkley understood what that meant: Other people, who were deemed privileged, would have to enable the underprivileged. It was the next step in the Left’s relentless pursuit of Socialism, now brought to the horse world.
As Berkley began tracking the changes demanded by DEI, she found troubling issues: suppression of Constitutional protections, speech codes, quotas, set asides, indoctrination, and the promotion of Black, as well as, LGBTQ+ agendas.”
It’s available on Amazon. You can read the back cover summary and also the first few pages (I think 10 pages) there.
I read what I could and honestly, I wasn’t sure what her thesis or point was. Or at least she hadn’t gotten to it yet.
The first part of the book is more like a history lesson. But as you continue there is a whole lot more
Why don’t you look up Megan Thee Stallion Equestrian on YouTube and see that’s how the USEF /us equestrian were portraying our sport for the Olympics?
The same person who sings “Wet Ass Pussy” - and it was produced for NBC by us equestrian and USEF
What does her rapping career have anything to do with promoting the Olympics? I assure you Snoop Dogg has lyrics in his music that are just as explicit, but I don’t see you complaining about him.
The description of this book sounds like a giant dog whistle for the elite who don’t like the idea that BIPOC deserve to be included in the sport just as much as anyone else. Typical conservative hysteria.
It’s just one example of how bizarre this is. Snoop is nothing like Megan Thee Stallion maybe you should listen to the songs
Oh, I have. His lyrics are equally explicit regarding sex and drugs, but god forbid a woman do the same.
Please explain to me what this is all about:
Snoops association was based on the previous games when he was covering the Olympics with Kevin Hart. A little different than the USEF producing the only commercial for the Olympics with this.
It’s to drive interest in a sport that’s not well known outside the wealthy elite. I really don’t see an issue with it. Would you rather have had Katy Perry or some other singer instead?
No it has nothing to do with that as you’d understand if you took the time to read the book and all of the facts she shares. But you can continue to think what you want
I’ll never read a book that uses the phrase “the Left’s relentless pursuit of Socialism” as part of its synopsis. She sounds like a nutter.
