From what I’ve heard - on a 6- or 7-hour flight, they can hold it. Not much different than holding it at night.

When we moved back from England after 4 years, we took the QE2 so our Bernese Mountain Dog and 2 cats wouldn’t have a flight. It was an easier decision since the ticket cost was part of our employer-paid moving expenses.

This doesn’t make sense to me, since lots of people train their own service dogs. Do they then have to demonstrate their ability? How does that work with a seizure dog, or what have you?

Yeah, at $9,000 one way…!!! If I had the means to rent a private jet, this thread would not even exist
As for dogs on commercial flights -
Ultimately, any airline can prohibit any dog from boarding the plane, for any reason, even a service dog. It’s in their power and it’s final.
