I’m looking for a relatively easy pattern/how to to make a felt contoured saddle pad. Anyone have instructions ?

There are a few patterns out there for sewing your own pads, haven’t seen one for a felt one but Google is your friend 
YouTube might have something too, unless others can help.
I bought a felt contoured saddle pad. Instead of cutting a left and right side and stitching it up the center with a contour (because that would make it really thick!), a long oval cutout was made where most of the spine is. Under a saddle, it does conform (contour) to your horse’s back.

This is the pad I got, though I had to remove the fake fleece, as it made a bad bump between the saddle and the horse, but the contour did work properly.
