Has anyone tried Premier Equine's fly rugs?

Looking for something different than the usual - I need head to tail coverage with a belly wrap, but it needs to be durable AND extremely breathable/cool. As if that didn’t make things hard enough, it also needs to have a fairly long drop - he is big-barreled and most standard-length drops look like a mini skirt on him. Bugs are ramping up to be horrible this year and are already driving my horse nuts, but he destroys the soft jersey-mesh in turnout and it makes him sweat. His last fly sheet survived less than 24 hours. Fly spray is only marginally effective and not really cost-effective as an all-day solution when I have to re-apply 2-3x at $25+ a bottle.

I am going to contact the company directly, but would love to hear personal reviews if anyone has used them.

Yes I’ve got several of the bug buster rugs. They are very robust but also quite a substantial material, not sure if that particular rug would be too hot for your needs (we don’t get many hot days in what passes for summer). They are also very big fitting in my experience and I needed to size down on each horse compared to the size they take in the Premier Equine turnout rugs. Very deep and lots of coverage.

Thanks, Moon River. They do look like they are made of a more substantial material than the ones I’ve tried, and I like the design. I wish I was ready to purchase today since they are having a 25% off sale!

The end of season and Black Friday sales are even better for bargains, if you can get in quick enough before everything goes! If you sign up for their daily emails, or follow them on Facebook, they do have different products with 20% off everyday so the fly rugs will be on offer again through the season.
