Looks way, way too good to be true. Also the photos look to be taken from the Burlingham tack trunk photos on dover saddlery.
But maybe someone on here has ordered one?
The spelling mistakes alone make me suspicious enough to want to steer clear. Not to mention thereās no contact details whatsoever beyond an email address
I saw it advertised on Facebook, and 99% of the ads I get on there are scams. But they usually have either no website or a really unprofessional oneā¦
This looks very scammy. The contact info is a gmail address! Shipping alone on a product that size is going to be substantial, there is no way they can really sell it for $60 and free shipping. If you get anything at all it will probably be a flimsy plastic box, not at all what itās supposed to be.
The email address in the Terms of Service is lazymountco@gmail.com . Searching that leads to https://de-reviews.com/glameour/
apparently they were also selling comforter sets but shipping you a headband?
I just saw this and was thinking about it but it didnāt seem to add up right. Iām glad this question was posted. I can see someone starting a business doing a cheap deal to gain interest but so far I havenāt seen one person who feels comfy with this. So ā¦as much as I want it, Iām out.
Itās too bad because Iād love to get one; I like the original burlingham ones but I have a problem paying over 1k for what is essentially a giant trash can
But I do think itās a scam.
Seems sketchy to me. I also find it a bit weird that an equestrian brand would have an upside down horseshoe as its logo. Maybe thatās just me though. You could always try a google image search and see if that gets you more info.
Itās definitely a scam. The exact photos stolen from another legitimate brand gives it away. Youāll receive nothing or a really poorly made imitation.
If it was a legitimate but similar product, they would take their own photos of what they are actually selling.
The domain registration info is hidden, but it was only created 14 days ago.
In some countries they have it upside down so the luck pours out on you. In others itās right side up to catch the luck

I promise you all, itās a total scam. Stupid me, saw ad on Fauxbook, was at the vets with pet and distracted. No excuse for me at all, but went ahead and ordered, justified thinking it might just be an end of year clear out⦠definitely didnāt use my normally functioning āred flagā instincts. Some weeks later received a purple headband. Ashamed of myself, so hopefully this puts any questions to restā¦it is a scam, and I donāt see any recourse. FB has removed the ad, at least from my feed ā¦š¤¦š
Itās true, you get a headband. What a hard lessonā¦šš¤¦ Feeling stupid.
well, in the old days you could order x-ray glasses from ads in comic books ā¦or a monkey for just $19.95
and the monkey was real
If it was charged to your credit card you should be able to dispute it and get your money back.
Or was it through Facebookās payment system? I found this which is not promising but does say something about notifying them within 30 days. https://www.facebook.com/payments_terms
If Iām ordering something from an unknown company on Facebook or elsewhere online, first I research the company and item as much as possible. If everything seems legit, I pay through Paypal with my credit card to have two avenues of recourse should I never receive the correct item. This also stops the company from getting my card info in case itās an attempt at that sort of fraud. If they donāt accept Paypal then I donāt need the item.
Did you pay through a credit card? You can dispute it. Iām sorry that happened
Nope, PayPal wasnāt an option, used debit card. Shame on me, as I know better. It is what it isā¦
Nope, did the stupid thing with debit card. Shame on me.
