Has anyone used this joint supplement for dogs?

Looking for a comprehensive joint supplement for my big dog. Have used Dasuquin in the past and been happy with it, but would really like to find something like that which also contains hyaluronic acid.

Ran across this stuff:

Which seems to check all my boxes and looks to be fairly reasonably priced.

Thoughts?

looks like it covers all the bases, even has cetyl-M in it. Some dogs respond dramatically to cetyl-M, others not so much.

I haven’t heard of that. What I have been using is Grand HA Synergy. Yes the one for horses. There is labeling on the package for canines. It is working really well for my sons dog who is “off” without it and fine on it. And it is REALLY cheap when you figure out how long a container lasts!

I use a product from Horsetech that has glucosamine, chrondointin, msm, and hylaronic acid in it (Hylasport). My dog is young, but has started doing agility, so am using it kind of as a preventative. I have my horse on the same in horse strength. She is 19this year and very active, ridden about 5 days per week, shows occasionally, trail rides alot.

I’ve tried Cosequin DS (helped a little), and then SynFlex (nothing), and now Duralactin. It seems to be helping a LOT. Like, to the point of I can tell if I’ve forgotten to give her one in the morning!

I got the chews and she thinks they’re treats.

Wow. Four doses (two days) of the loading dose in and already seeing improvement.

We have radiographs showing a significant of low back/SI arthritis and Koa’s really carried her tail tucked for some time now. Figured it was just her reserved nature. Today, saw her carry her tail out behind her for the first time in a LONG time.

Ordered off the site and they offer 20% off if you set up auto ship. Makes the supplement downright cheap, even for a big dog!

Yay! Glad it’s working out for you!

I really notice a different if I forget to give her the Duralactin for even a day.

o.k. Simkie - will you post back in another month? I need to know. Thx.

Foxtrot’s–Koa’s been doing very well. I’m really happy with the improvement I’ve seen in her. She likes the tablets (we just toss in with her food) and they smell yummy, sort of like malt. She’s been using her tail more and seems happier in general.

The company does seem to have some fulfillment issues, but I guess they’ve been good about it. I ordered three bottles of the supplement with HA. A few days after I received, I realized I got one bottle of their hypoallergenic stuff. I sent them an email and they issued a call tag from FedEx, and said they’d ship my missing bottle. I got a picture frame instead, with an invoice in the box for someone else in California. Another email, another call tag. I don’t know if my experience is unique, but I signed up for the repeat shipping (for 20% off, yay!) so we’ll see what happens with the next shipment.
