Has anyone's horse had colopexy surgery?

Does anyone have a horse (or know of one) that has had colopexy surgery, where they suture the colon to the abdomen? My horse has had two colic surgery, both caused from the colon flipping. During the second surgery we decided a colopexy was the best option to prevent it from flipping again. It has been a few years since his surgery and he hasn’t had any problems or side effects, but has also only been in light work. I have talked to several vets and all of them have said, “he will tell you what he can do,” but I’m nervous that going back to the jumpers could cause it to tear or rupture. Has anyone else’s horse gone back to showing and jumping after this surgery?
