Hauling from Southern California to Southern Ontario

Hey folks,

Does anyone have a rough ballpark on what it might cost to haul a horse from Southern California to Southern Ontario? I’m interested in a prospect.

I priced shipping a mare from Santa Barbara to
Florida 3-4 years ago; if I remember correctly it was about $2500.

It cost me $1000 a horse to move from Northern Ca (Sacramento area) to Spokane WA. I contacted a few companies bigger than the person I used but by no means as big as Bob Hubbard and they were all right about that price. Most places will charge at the least $1.00 per mile if not more. That can help you figure out at least a minimum cost
