How do you use this website? Do you pick the state that you want the hay delivered? Do you pick the state that you want the hay to come from??
Could someone please help me figure this website out and how do you KNOW if a supplier is any good? I am looking for some square bales of alfalfa - I need it to come from Iowa and north - I am in Oklahoma.
I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks!
Haven’t been on the site in a while, but it used to be that you would pick where you wanted the hay delivered too, and all of the hay producers that deliver to that area would be listed. I found the best hay ever from that site and the guy was so reliable, that I never had to look for hay again while I lived in KY. I also found a guy once through calling the nearest University and speaking with someone in their forages dept. They had several recent grads with BS in forages who were starting their own hay farms. Very reliable, knowledgable and excited about starting their businesses.
You may also want to PM Tamara in TN. She might know someone out that way, or deliver there herself. I’ve heard good things about her hay. I think there is a lot of consistancy and quality control.
