I’m looking for teff, timothy, orchard grass or a mix of soft hay for a 30+ year old horse. He has few teeth remaining, so a softer hay is essential. I have a pick-up truck so can haul myself and willing to travel a reasonable distance to keep my “old guy” happily munching. I have good alfalfa, but he can’t have much of it as it causes him loose poops. He loves his soaked hay pellets, but he still needs long stemmed hay to munch on. Any help finding hay for him is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
